I love this video by Simon Sinek. He reminds us to start with our why which is how how great leaders inspire action and he reminds us that people do not buy what we have, they buy what we believe. Even though it sounds simple, it is really not. I use this in my Mentorship Program. The first thing I ask is to have my mentoree write their WHY statement. It has to be bigger than HOW. In fact, if you know how, then your WHY is not big enough. My next blog will share what I mean by authentic leadership.
